Six Stories Of Mars That Will Affect You

Japanese Space Agency (JAXA), NASA, and US Air Force formed a combined military air force or space force (the Japanese preference) in 2015. Plans are to begin operations to remove space debris (thousands of trashed items) sometime between early 2017 and 2019 (reference: hub.me/agIV8).

Japanese friends in the business call the aerospace frontier The Fourth Battlefield – according to Kelsey-Campbell Dollaghan in GISMODO under a heading at “Star Wars.”

It is a good place to gather additional tourism dollars as well – the Moon, Mars, Jupiter…

How do you feel about a combined Air Force?

The two nations have several aerospace projects already in spacecraft design and spacecraft component manufacture, forecasting hurricanes, and other space age concepts.

Many projects are ongoing or set to begin in the near future in the space above Earth. Find out more here. Captain Video, Space Patrol, and Star Trek are becoming more real than ever.

A visit to a Starbucks in a rich suburb in Mid-Ohio at about 2:30pm on a weekday was a total nightmare!

The four staff people were very upbeat and personable – even efficient. But the 50 high school and middle school students who ganged into the place because the town has no MacDonald’s were aliens from the Millennial Planet. They all had their communicators, though – expensive SmartPhones.

I like many Millennial people, even though a number of them seem to hate Generation Y, Baby Boomers, and any of The Greatest Generation left.

At this Starbucks in a posh neighborhood between the high school and a wonderfully well equipped, large public library, chaos reigned with shouting and screaming. In the middle of it, a teen boy rode a Razor scooter through the crowded dining area at moderate speed and no adult said a thing to him. Food and drinks were stolen from the display in front of the counter – no staff person said a thing, but saw it happen.

In a period of 20 minutes at the condiment bar, four teen boys poured out all of the half & half, whole milk, and skim milk into 12-oz cups set up for the water dispenser, added handfuls of Splenda packets, poured in all the vanilla and chocolate flavorings, and left with free drinks, all the napkins, and their six $600 iPhones.

Two of the thieving rich boys were Caucasian – they came back for refills, even asking the counter woman for more half & half – three African Americans, and one Hispanic. Adults were left with no milk products for their coffees, no napkins, and no respect. The African Americans spent at least $8 each, but does that entitle them to steal?

Is this Starbucks the equivalent to the VIP lounge at a luxury airline?

If we are going to pay workers $15.00/hour and charge megabucks for coffee drinks and food, then shouldn’t we expect a little peace and quiet along with some law and order in a restaurant?

Should tweens and teens really be given $200/week allowances and additional money every day for Starbucks?

What do you think, America? And how about our International friends – opinions?

Many job seekers are frustrated!

They survive job search and employment interviews, but  learn that the interviewing companies will not hire them.

Why not?

HR may be adding applications and resumes for future use, jobs already may have been filled, or these jobs may need to have been advertised outside the company by law, even though internal applicants were hired.

It’s frustrating!

Some businesses, however, really need to hire more people, a lot more – So try them. Find them at:

How to Find 60 Companies That Will Really Hire You

Some nurses in the United States and globally are retiring and quitting. The 12-hour shifts up to 5 and 6 days per week may be responsible for part of this loss, because the shortage was already under way when the wonderful system of three day’s of 12-hour shifts became popular. Now it’s 5 or 6 days with requests for additional work as well. Nurses are burning out on this schedule.

Further, nursing schools across America have difficulty expanding their capacity to meet an increasing demand for care. In fact, these schools are experiencing a shortage of nursing instructors.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Employment Projections to 2022, the Registered Nurse (RN) is in the top occupations for job growth. America needs more nurses. The also country needs LPNs, LVNs, and even thousands more Certified Nursing Aides. The RN shortage is likely to be strongest the American South and the West through 2030, perhaps because many retirees move tho these locales.

What can America do about its RN Nursing Shortage?

Americans were accustomed to the Bread Line nd the Unemployment Line back in the 1930s, but we’re having these today as well.

Some employees lose their jobs through no fault of their own. However, some other times, there is cause for termination.

Dishonesty, evasion, or lack of integrity on the job can be the culprit, as well as lack of training and misunderstandings. It is important to be honest, straightforward, and forthcoming on the job with your management and then to insist on proper training and fair treatment as well.

What is networking and the other four ways to get a real job now? Find out here.

How will fast food as an industry handle the increase to a $15.00 per hour Federal Minimum Wage?

First off, many will simply close down. Others will limit their menus, offer additional or longer periods of Drive-Thru times and close the dining room early or go to All-Drive-Thru service. and some will raise menu prices too high.

McDonald’s has found that tactics that helped them absorb the 2009 Federal Minimum Wage Increase are not working now. Because of this, the company allegedly plans to eliminate part of its human crew members with robots – but, this is really still a rumor. Those few remaining humans would  be robotics technicians and that is a good thing, since that work requires more skills and a higher salary to go with them.

Will a Phoenix Arizona McDonald’s go all-robot soon? Probably not, but it’s fun to think about. After all, sci-fi author Arthur C. Clarke was the first to think up communications satellites (ComSats) and we have them all over the near-Earth cosmos now!

A long time women’s health agency may be preventing the creation of new Health and Medical jobs in the Obstetrics and Transplantation fields by handing over aborted fetal tissues and organs to researchers and people in the market for new human parts.

This is still an allegation at this point, but a possibility.

Another possibility is that PP will be defunded and all those jobs will be lost.

How many jobs might be lost to such an alleged undercover system? — Likely thousands of positions that America needs for its job seekers from health aides through nurses, med techs, nurse practitioners and physicians.

During July 2015, international media news and two undercover YouTube videos of a tipsy PP Executive declaring she wants a high-priced sports car alleged that Planned Parenthood sells aborted tissues and organs. People at the agency insist that they charge only transportation costs. Some reporters called for an audit of the standard price schedules of that transportation and a match of them to PP’s accounts receivables numbers.

Will the figures match and what about back door sales, those sales not recorded and “off the books?”

We’re not accusing Planned Parenthood of larceny, but the public is demanding to know. PP should willingly submit to an external audit and an investigation that looks for off the record transactions.

A second part of the allegation is that illegal partial birth abortions are used to obtain whole organs rather than destroyed organs for sale and this is unacceptable.

A thorough investigation is necessary, although undercover videos0 are demoralizing, especially the PP Executive under the influence, even if comments may be out of context or perhaps a bad joke.

Look for more conjecture in the build up to Election 2016.

A lot of news lately speaks to the problem of torture and illegal interrogation techniques and it brings back memories!

It all causes me to recall that several years ago I was a manager for a company that locked each of its managers into a close-like small room alone, and then for an hour, attempted to interrogate each one of us illegally.

What would you do if this happened to you??

Here’s some background on the problem of illegal interrogations (at the link) and a narrative about how we handled being locked into a veritable closet by our boss. Creepy!

Thanks and have a pleasant day!
