Tavarua Island just off the west coast of Fiji’s biggest island cut all the special fees to tourists that were once levied to use the waterways around it. However, since 2010, the spot has gained revenue instead of lost it. The reasons? – Professional surfing competitions and good customer service throughout the island resort. Package vacation deals are pretty good!

Tavarua – The Heart Shaped Island of the South Pacific and It’s World Class Surfing

  • Tavarua began gaining attention only recently, but already has become a world class surfing hub.
  • Other water sports are also enjoying a boost: body surfing, kite windsurfing, stand up paddling, game fishing for HUGE fish, cruises, snorkeling and scuba and dozens more.
