Despite the passing years, we continue to find unique stories of individuals in World War II. This story has been rolling around Universal Pictures for 55 years without a cast and crew.

Many have never spoken about the war, but their stories finally surfaced. Some veterans are still alive, including 95-year-old Louis Zamperini. He went from champion Olympic and college runner to American Soldier to POW to boys’ camp operator and is still active to help make the movie. See more at
