Biometrics is a field opening new jobs primarily in eastern Virginia, Washington DC, and Foster City CA. Over 2,000 jobs related to biometrics were open at May 1 in government, government contractor, and private firms. As biometrics becomes more important in identification in personal, business, and government activities, this field will continue to grow past the 2nd Qtr 2011. The rise of robotics and genetic engineering will contribute to this field as well.

With its gardens, greenways, golf courses, colleges, cultural venues, arts, and music, Belle Meade is one of my favorite places to visit. It is also one of the Wealthiest Towns in America at Number 12 and the home to former Vice President Al Gore. His family has long been active in politics and society in Belle Meade, giving him a background from which to attack problems of climate change and alternative sources of energy in addition to Big Oil.
