Local Employment Forecasts to 2016

In January 2011, Nashua (where Jack Kerouac has relatives) has access to over 33,000 jobs within a distance of 25 miles of city center, listed on (SimplyHired.com and Indeed.com job search engines.  

The Highest Demand jobs in the area that are high-wage and require trained skills are in the following list, according to the Boston labor information departments. Job titles listed in BOLD text are already in high demand.

A part of the larger Boston statistical area, Nashua will soon enjoy having light rail transport all the way into the center of Boston itself. This is sure to make finding a job easier, given the larg enumber of openings in the metro area.
