Runaway Train – UNSTOPPABLE True Courage

Engine 8888 – the CRAZY EIGHTS – out of  CSX Railroad  in Walbridge, Ohio was lost, with its 47 cars,  by a career engineer in a one-man crew.  He left the cab to align a track and 8888 ran away 4 months before 9/11.  It raced on its own at 45 mph for almost 2 hours from near Toledo and nearly reached Columbus, hauling a dangerous load of MOLTEN PHENOL ACID – dangerous to breathe or touch. What if it exploded in town?

Re-set in railroading Pennsylvania, UNSTOPPABLE is breathtaking and real in many ways. Don’t miss it.  You’ll find the background of the Ohio heroes played by Denzel Washington and Chris Pine at the link above.
