Across the nation, doctors and nurses are volunteering to lead walking groups in their communities. Pediatricians especially enjoy doing this project for their own health and that of their patients and community members. It’s been happening in our city and suburb parks for nearly two years and fits right in with Michelle Obama’s more recent suggestion to Let’s Move in America for the sake of our children’s health.
