If It’s Not Scottish It’s Cr@p!

That’s the first line that comes to me when I think of great actors and comedians with British heritage that have entertained us with sketches on Saturday Night Live over the years. Mike Myers and All Things Scottish were as funny at the hamburger bar run by Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi.  Sir Patrick Stewart made us laugh as a Scottish psychiatrist on one episode in the 1990s.

Today, Professor Sir Patrick Stewart is Chancellor of a University in his near his birthplace in West Yorkshire and he sponsors scholarship finding toward projects in the campaign to end violence against women.  The link above will take you through his own painful story and his impressive background and sense of humor.  He is humble, hard-working, and has a heart for human rights.
