A large number of agencies are related to the NIH and the Office of Dietary Supplements in one of these. Under their auspices, several training programs and professional development opportunities are offered around the country at certified institutions of higher learning for graduate students and professionals. Educational materials and a copy of the organizations Strategic Plan involving dietary supplements through 2014 is also available at the site.

For the general public, the ODS supplies links to past, current, and new research into dietary supplements and their safe and effective understanding and uses, plus a section full of Fact Sheets on specific supplements and groups of supplements.  The link above explains the opportunities available to Americans for better and more effective nutrition.
