Spinach is super vegetable full of iron, lutein that reduces fat in the blood vessels, and chlorophyll for other health benefits. It contains calcium, copper, folic acid, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, and the vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, and K. Delicious in fresh and frozen varieties, spinach became a symbol of the patriotic Popeye the Sailor Man, especially during WWII.
