I recently answered a request about a popular Greek and Italian recipe that I had known only both other names. The culinary title for the dish is 1) pisticcio or 2) pasticcio, and both words have several meanings and interesting stories attached to them. They also sound like leading characters in not only Italian Opera, but also modern TV comedies and science fiction or futurist series.   It’s all fascinating and three recipes using three different cooking techniques  in this article are all delicious.
