The US Space Program is not only alive, it is so far ahead of schedule that NASA issued an edict in May 2012 for other explorers in America as well as international space agencies to leave their offloaded materials and equipment alone when they reached the moon. We may see the first property disputes later in 2012.

via US Space Program 2012 – 2022: First Commercial Contracts, NASA Scholarships, and NASA’s “Stuff” On the Moon.

Outer Space Burials have been sold successfully for a few years now and private companies like SpaceX are carrying loved ones’ remains to the skies. This includes Star Trek’s Scotty, James Doohan.

In 2013, Google’s contest for designing lunar landers will place vehicles on the moon once again, two years early.  Google and film director/explorer James Cameron are involved already in Space Mining as well.

NASA partnerships with over 60 businesses span 26 US States as of May 2012. Jobs are beginning to emerge. NASA gave out another 25 scholarships to college and grad students in 2012 and 5 universities were selected to build space and Moon/Mars and other deep space habitats.

Contrary to the nay-sayers that wish the space program dead, US Space  Flight is alive and full to overflowing with projects and people.

The Recession of 2008 – 2010 is reportedly over

…according to the US Federal Government, but if your state or city seems stuck in the recession and can’t get out, here are some tips for finding a job and keeping it, even during a recession.

ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR LIVING IN A RECESSION

Top 10 Most Expensive Places to Live In America and 10 That are Reasonable

You probably do not want to lives in one of the most expensive sites in the United States, but we also highlight the Top 10 Least Expensive places to work and live. This cities and towns offer a Cost of Living Index significantly less than that of the US on average and many of these places have well-paying jobs open, too. Combining low costs and higher wages is a great thing to do, if you are able.

Borderplex, the First US Inland Foreign Trade Zone and a Cheap Place to Live

From the media play of the last ten years, who would think that a city near the US-Mexico Border offers lower living costs and some higher-paid career employment? Add sight-seeing and delicious regional cuisine as well as arts and culture, and you might at least want to visit.

Cheap Living in America’s Banana Belt – Pueblo, Colorado

Colorado is beautiful and a travel destination as well as a good place to live and work.

Covington, Kentucky – Commute to Cincinnati and Save Money

Covington is only about two miles south from the center of Cincinnati. Growing and developing at nearly an equal rate as the Queen City, Covington offers a lower cost of living, wonderful restaurants, great sights, lots to do, and a number of higher-paid jobs of its own.

The Bakken Oil Fields and Williston Basin in the Northwest corner of North Dakota

This industry needs 100s oil field workers from those trained in technologies, to helpers, to planners and supervisors.  This OIL BOOM along Route 2 in ND and especially in New Town and the communities within 25 miles will only grow larger. President Barack Obama fast-tracked the construction of 80 new oil wells in this area and the land and oil reserves can support many more times that number.

New swelling places are beginning construction without a hundred miles of New Town and Bismarck ND and additional apartments and other types of housing will be needed. In my recent listings, people with motor home, apartments, and homes for rent reasonably in the area are listing their contact information. The jobs are high paying and long term, so visit these links for jobs and housing opportunities:

In the America of November 2011, we have reports of from 6 Million to 14 Million job seekers trying to find gainful  employment in what seems a continuation of the Recession of 2008 to 2010. W have total jobs listings daily of  only about 4 Million to a little over 6 Million jobs across the Internet. Although it is colder in North Dakota than in many other parts of the USA, workers are needed in and around the oil fields . Job here will increase in the future, probably until at least 2020.

Another growing field is Sales of Medical Products and Services.

Medical equipment includes new prostheses and implants used in 2011 with US Veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraqi Wars, called “power legs” that involve internal  propellants. They can be used without even a crutch, even if both legs are replaces.  They are available to athletes and will come into wider use in the next decade.

Pharmaceuticals, not all of them drugs, include such things as the new powdered pig intestine or bladder used for growing absolutely new organs over a dissolving support matrix – the esophagus, muscle tissues, and several others. This gives hope even to the oldest cancer patients, diabetics, US Veterans, and other groups.

The Aerospace Industry will make wide use of new medical equipment and services in its determined plans to explore and settle on Mars and to mine the asteroid belt beyond it.

These are just a few places that these high paying jobs will go between 2011 and 2050:

University of Alabama authorities state that in 2011, at least 380,000 students flunk out of college every year. This does not need to include you, your children, or your friends.

Many parents today push their kids into earning perfect scores on the SATs, forcing them to re-test in practice SAT and real SAT tests from grades 7 through 12. That’s a lot of testing on top of standardized yearly school tests. Sometimes, these student do not even want to go to college. Proper evaluation of a students needs, wants, and talents is a first priority.

Some kids flunk out of school on purpose, especially if someone else is paying for it. This is a total waste of resources and can be avoided. The following link suggests a Top 10 List of failure reasons and what to do about them.

Many places around the State of Florida are interesting, fun, and good places to retire; but, they are also fantastic places to relocate in order to find work. We find that so many people are moving to Florida from Ohio that Ohio is losing seats in the Federal Legislature, while Florida is gaining seats for the 2012 Presidential Election. That’s a significant change. Individuals and families are moving to Florida for good reasons.

One reason people are moving to the Southeast is that NASA began working on its Mission to Mars projects a long time before Atlantis made its final US Space Shuttle trip in July 2011.  While shuttle staff in Houston was being laid off, other space-related jobs were being designed in Florida, on the Space Coast and elsewhere.  Government contractors and government agencies are gearing up for both the US Mission to Mars and privatized passenger and freight space flight.

Jobs are becoming abundant in Florida in Healthcare, Trucking, and several branches of Information Technology, as well as the Manufacturing of space-related parts and vehicles.  Have a look at some of the places that one can either retire or find a good job:

Other enjoyable, unique places to travel:

Numbers of registered nursing jobs will increase all the was to year 2100, because of aging populations, the advanced of privatized space flight and aerospace medicine, and the spread of undersea living in military bases and non-military communities. Adding new living spaces to Antarctica is even a  possibility. Registered Nurses and their advanced positions as Nurse Practitioners and researchers are sure to be high demand jobs in the decades to come. The new Mission to Mars advanced by the White House nearly ensures that status all by itself, considering that life in outer space and on another planet will require much health and medicine backup.

Scholarships, professional organizations, easier ways up the ladder from Nursing Aide to MD, and a lot more information is found at this directory:

Even though US Space Shuttle Atlantis launched for the final time on July 8, 2011; NASA is still open for business. The launch was superb, despite lightning strikes and weather warnings and the video replays will probably become a DVD for collectors and history classes.

NASA administration and staff are excited by the future.

The US Space Shuttle Mission ended 30 years of work with the next phase of Lunar Exploration, the Constellation Program, cancelled by the 2008 – 2012 White House. No Matter – NASA became the Commercial Space Flight Mission at Cape Canaveral in partnership with Johnson Space Center and the private sector.

Privatized Space Flight had been suggested by President Barack Obama (2008 – 2012) as an option for Mission to Mars and NASA took the idea farther in order to provide America with their own transportation to the International Space Station rather than or rely completely on Russian colleagues and possibly overwork those vehicles.
