Vacations need not be so expensive.

Graceland is usually in the Top 10 tourist attractions in Tennessee, but at $70 admission for just part of the tour, it won’t be on the list of many people these days.

I was looking at admissions to various theme parks and was appalled at the costs for a day’s entertainment. It’s simply not worth it to me, but then again, I have horror stories –

Two months in a row at a successful restaurant chain, my employees won productivity awards, which included a bus trip and admission to two major theme parks.  I quickly became overloaded and have not visited such a park since.  At the prices charged, I would likely not attend again unless I won a trip. The parks sometimes help college students earn tuition over the summer, many with discounted room and board and scholarships, which is a redeeming quality.
